Do you offer refunds or returns?

If there was a mistake made on the shop's end which resulted in a defective or poor product, I will offer to make adjustments to the product or, if the problem cannot be corrected, to replace or refund the product. If there was a mistake made on the customer's end, I unfortunately cannot offer a refund or return, but I may be able to make an adjustment.

Can you finish my piece in time for ____? / Why does it take so long for you to finish my order?

This shop is owned and operated by a single person, who is disabled and works a full-time day job. I offer high-end, handmade products which require a high level of skill and time to make, and usually have multiple orders in progress at a given time. I may need to order supplies online before starting on your order, and shipping can be delayed once I get the order in the mail.

Many customers order pieces they intend to wear to a specific event, and I will absolutely make an effort to fill your order in time if it is realistically possible to do so. Based on my discretion, I will sometimes offer to rush an order for a fee, which is meant to compensate me for prioritizing your order over other orders which were placed earlier, and for possibly working longer hours than I would have otherwise in order to complete the item in time. Other times, it's just not possible to complete the order in time. I will always do my best to evaluate my capacity before giving you an estimated timeline, and I always appreciate your patience and understanding.

The item I ordered doesn’t fit me. Can you adjust/resize the item for me?

I always offer one free (aside from return shipping) minor adjustment if there are any issues with your order. You pay to ship the order back to me, I'll pay to send it back to you. Any repairs or adjustments after that, or any major repairs or adjustments, will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Do you work with vegan leather?

Very rarely. Occasionally I'll have some to work with, and will likely advertise it as a limited-time material. Sometimes I may also have other alternatives to animal leather available, such as denim, latex, or waxed canvas. I don't consistently keep those materials in stock, but if you're looking for alternative materials, you're welcome to ask!

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time.

Ready to ship vs. made to order vs. custom

The majority of the products I make are made to order. This means that when you order a piece from me, you input your measurements and material preferences, and I make a piece to your specifications, according to a template I have already designed.

Sometimes, I'll offer pieces that have already been made on the shop. These will be listed as ready to ship. They may be pre-made because an order fell through somehow, because they were made to be sold at an in-person market, because a prototype design turned out well enough to sell, etc. They will often be priced lower than made to order items, may be discounted if they're in some way imperfect, and will often ship more quickly than made to order pieces.

If you want an entirely new design made, or a major adjustment made to an existing design, that would be a custom order. To place a custom order, you will need to contact me personally, through the Contact tab, an email, or an Instagram DM. We'll discuss your designs, I'll likely sketch up a design for the piece, and I'll give you a quote for a custom piece based on that discussion.

Do you offer repairs for items you didn’t make yourself?

Sometimes! It depends entirely on the project, but I enjoy doing repair and restoration work, and am absolutely willing to consider repairing a piece you have that could use some extra care.
